Hot Buttered Rum
(From the kitchen of Highland Lakes MOM, Jill Bensinger, who made sure we were DELICIOUSLY WARM during our “Cozy Winter Gathering” in her home for January Supper Club!)
1 stick of butter
2 cups of brown sugar
3 cinnamon sticks
6 whole cloves
2 qts hot water
2 cups of dark rum
Place all ingredients in large crockpot, except the rum. Cook on low for 6-8hrs or high for 3-4 hours. Add rum right before serving. Serve warm.
