The holidays brought two exciting events for the MOMs of Highland Lakes!
Holiday “Brunch & Shop” Gathering

Highland Lakes MOMs jump-started the holiday season with a special edition of Supper Club and mixed it up a bit with BRUNCH instead of dinner for our Holiday Brunch & Shop Gathering on December 5th!
This was such a fun-filled day! We began the day with a delicious breakfast in the private meeting room at the Egg & I – 280 where we played a fun game of “Dirty Santa Door Prizes” (smile!).
Highland Lakes MOMs gratefully acknowledges the following local retailers who donated door prizes which made this such a special time together:
Plain Jane’s Women & Children’s Gift Shop
Chelsea Lane
The Cuckoo’s Nest
We had over 7 fun door prizes donated, including two grand prizes: a $25 gift certificate to The Cheesecake Factory and a $50 gift certificate to The Cuckoos Nest!

After breakfast, we continued the fun with a “shop ‘til we drop” excursion to several nearby retailers, including The Cuckoo’s Nest, where Highland Lakes MOM, Michele C., was the lucky winner of our $50 gift certificate at this quaint old cottage turned gift shop!

Later, we even found Santa at Chelsea Lane, where he assured us that Highland Lakes MOMs are at the TOP of his NICE list this holiday season!!!
What a special day of fun with our favorite neighborhood friends!!

“Santa’s Christmas Caravan & Magical Tour of Lights”

Our second December event was an especially enchanting evening for the children of Highland Lakes during our 2nd Annual “Santa’s Christmas Caravan & Magical Tour of Lights” on December 18th.
What a special night! We began the evening by gathering at Grove Park with a caravan parade of over 20 vehicles! Our caravan then weaved through the neighborhood via special route to view the most spectacular lighting displays in Highland Lakes! At last, we concluded our caravan journey by arriving at Santa’s House, where Santa’s elves served chocolate milk and cookies to the children of Highland Lakes, and Santa himself greeted each child!
Approximately 150 people attended this event, and a very, very special thanks goes out to the Ramsey family for hosting us at “Santa’s House” for the 2nd year in a row!!
